The facility is gorgeous - inside and out - a beautiful renovation of a historic building. They upgraded us to a one-bedroom suite without our having requested it - so nice! The room was so comfortable. The goody bag was a nice touch and the in-room breakfast was easy and delicious. They provided bicycle parking in the garage (thanks!!) and really, the staff we met couldn't have been more helpful or warmer. The room was expensive but it was peak season, so I understand. We walked and biked to town and the sights easily; there are endless great restaurants, ice cream places, bars, etc. We did not notice, nor did anyone offer, an elevator. And we didn't need one, but if someone in your party has trouble with stairs, you should ask about that. (We noticed a wheelchair outside the entrance, so perhaps there is an arrangement we didni't see.)

Wonderful stay at Mill Street Inn. We were able to park at location and walk around Newport to get to dinner etc. They have enough parking for just about all the rooms at first come first serve basis but the parking lot is tight so you do need to be confident with your cars dimensions. The staff was all wonderful and delivered a Continental style breakfast to your room in the morning to be enjoyed there or taken with you. There is no elevator so each guest will need to be confident walking up stairs but the front desk is there to help with any bags if needed. The only complaint I could find is the rooms are beginning to show a touch of age but other than that the beds were comfortable, all the lighting is on dimmers to adjust to your liking, and the rooms were well appointed with anything you could need. I have stayed in 3 different locations in Newport and this is easily the top of the list.

This property exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, the staff were warm and friendly, and the location was fantastic! Upon entering we were greeted with complementary sangria and a welcome bag. The breakfast was brought to our door each day which was a great touch. It wasn’t great weather when we arrived so we spent more time in the room than anticipated, but the room was so great our trip was still awesome! This is a great stay for couples and we would come back again and again.

It was great to have breakfast right there at the start of the day. We like the fruit cup option. Blueberry muffin would have been nice. The cake was extremely dry and we did not like it. The room was large and roomy, the bed very comfortable. Responsive climate control a plus. I would have been easy to spend more time with you.

Very cute place with spacious rooms, good breakfast and kind staff. We have stayed there twice in three months. Reasonably priced and well located within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants.

Complimentary cucumber water, sangria or coffee upon arrival. Off street parking. Solid exposed brick, old mill vibe. Very large, well equipped and cheerful exercise room. All rooms are suites, nice sitting room with a couch (a little tired in the middle), chair and coffee table. Sumptuous bed, nice temperature control, and ceiling fan in both rooms. Thick robes & disposable slippers. Large rain shower with separate wand. Breakfast delivered to room at a scheduled time chosen by us. Would recommend to others and would book again.

No BS charges for parking or for ‘resort fees’ . Actual front desk. 24 hour staffed front desk. No push button lock code texted exactly at 3:00 PM - an actual key. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious continental breakfast. Lovely 2 story townhouse room. Excellent remodel and adaptive re-use of an old mill building. High end finishes throughout

Wonderful staff. Fantastic location ——tucked away on a quiet street yet within easy walk to everything. Loved the small hotel feel, the gracious extras (breakfast, welcome goody bag, afternoon sangria) and the rooftop deck.

The inn was beautiful! The Sangria in the lobby was a nice suprise as was the room service breakfast. The food and coffee were delicious and the delivery was on time the three days we stayed. I loved the brick walls, high ceilings and rooftop deck! Our stay was great and we would definitely stay there again!

Friendly, helpful staff, clean and very comfortable, parking on site. Yummy continental breakfast serviced right to your door. The location was right in the middle of town, has a beautiful rooftop deck.
